Tips on using Horse Racing Systems for Betting
You can beat the race but not the races right? That's loser talk. Of course
you can not win every horse race like it is impossible to win every toss of the
coin. But if you can find races where your pay off is more than the odds
offered then you will profit from the game.
When playing heads or tails, you have a 50-50 chance of winning. If you
played with a friend who offered you £1 for every £1 you bet then
play for ages and you will both be quits at the end of it. But if your friend
was mean and only offered you 90p every time you won ,then it would not take
long for your money to run out.
This is what happens with bookies. in horse racing. The bookies stack the
prices in such a way that if you bet on every horse in every horse race then
you would lose. It doesn't matter if you bet on every horse, or just one horse.
Even if you just bet on favourites you would lose in the long run.
Now what if your friend was really dumb and was paying you £1.10
everytime you won? Well the tables would be turned and you would start to amass
profits.
Believe it or not, this actually happens in horse racing.
First, here is a reality check: You are not taking money off the
bookie. It is not his money that you are winning, it is other punters money.
The bookie just collects bets, holds the pot until after the race and then
dishes out winnings to the lucky winners. If he worked out his books right he
would have an automatic commission of 10%, 20% or more depending on the number
of winners, and the price of the horse.
Your task is to find horses where the pay off odds are better than what they
should be. You need to find situations similar to the coin tosser paying
£1.10.
Horse racing systems identify situations where certain horses pay
more than they should.
e.g. there is the '2nd favourites at Grade 1 courses' system which
identifies certain horses who win more than their odds say they should (and
thus the pay off odds are better than they should be). Another horse racing
system is the Chester Form Horse system. Again, this system identifies horses
who either win more often than they should, or have odds higher than they
should.
